ABOUT US
Meet the Team
With more than 45 years architecture experience, Pritzkat & Johnson Architects designs distinctly creative yet functional spaces that are appropriate to the natural and built environment of Southern California. The firm works on projects throughout Southern California, with the majority built in the coastal cities.
Miles uses his artistic and technical experience to find creative and aesthetic design solutions based on the needs of each project. A third generation Southern California native, Miles developed his interest in architecture through frequent family trips to regional landmarks and historic sites, and a love of motion picture design. Miles strives for designs that make life easier, richer and more enjoyable.
A licensed architect since 1986, Miles worked for 24 years at Edward Carson Beall & Associates where he was the lead architect on hundreds of projects including large estates, custom residences and institutional projects such as the Eaton Canyon Nature Center and the Redondo Beach Pier renovation.
Miles was recently chosen to be a member of the Palos Verdes Art Jury. The Art Jury is the Architectural Review Committee of the Palos Verdes Homes Association that oversees the esthetics of projects proposed in the city.
Miles received his Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of California – Berkley.
In his free time, he enjoys paddleboarding, painting and playing keyboards in a local band.

Keith possesses broad experience in design and construction and is an expert in project delivery. Always adhering to the mantra form follows function, Keith was first intrigued by architecture when studying the scale, massing and structural design of his native Chicago’s famous skyscrapers.
Prior to starting Pritzkat & Johnson Architects, Keith served as a Designer at Edward Carson Beall & Associates for more than five years, lending his technical expertise to the firm’s residential and commercial projects. In 2005, Keith joined Miles on his new venture, which allowed him to further hone his design and project management skills. In 2008, he received his architectural license and shortly thereafter became a partner in the firm.
Keith received his Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In his free time, Keith enjoys playing volleyball, expanding his music collection and spending time with his daughters Emma and Lucy at the beach.

Lauren uses strategic thinking to carry out her design work in every phase of project delivery and provides innovative design input. Growing up in Manhattan Beach and spending most of her childhood in the South Bay has greatly influenced Lauren’s design expertise and her appreciation for local residential architecture.
After High School, she lived in Portland, Oregon for three years where she studied hand drafting. She continued her architectural studies back home at El Camino College and moved on to earn her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California. Shortly after graduation, she began working for Pritzkat and Johnson Architects, where she is now pursuing her path to licensure.
In Lauren’s free time, you can find her spending time outdoors at the beach, gardening and learning photography.
Tyler employs an enthusiastic approach to his work and takes pride in creating carefully considered designs. He uses his eye for detail and methodical personality to produce a high-quality product and his passion for architecture and design stems from early childhood. Traveling to different countries around the world has exposed Tyler to a variety of architectural styles and deepened his appreciation for thoughtful design.
Growing up outside of Seattle, WA, Tyler always knew that his love of architecture would take him places. Before working at Pritzkat & Johnson Architects, Tyler applied his craft as a freelance designer and draftsman. A desire to be a part of the production of high-quality, custom homes has led Tyler to the South Bay.
Tyler received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He is currently working towards obtaining his architectural license.
In his free time, Tyler is an avid reader and enjoys watching, as well as playing soccer. He takes pride in fitness and is always looking forward to visiting new places around the world.
